I started using this web site a couple of year ago when i was working in a program after school. But now i'm using it for something completely different. my weight loss journey, Ive recently started to see the doctor about weight loss surgery. Ive decided to start the process for Gastric Bypass. Tomorrow at 9:am I am meeting with surgeon Dr. Vemylapalli, MD, If everything goes well by the summer ill be havign the surgery. Todays my first day blogging so bear with me..i suck writing lol. Well i'm going to give you some info about me and the surgery, to qualify i have to be at least at a BMI of 40 as of right now i'm at a 51 which qualifies me to be a grade 3 Morbid Obesity sucks i know. Also another thing about me while i was in high school i had the lab band done which is a another weight loss surgery but was unsuccessful.. Sad face :(. Im going to try to blog every time I have an appointment or when something comes up.

Hey its chiki back haven't been blogging for a while but going to start again. Happy to see a lot of new faces and volunteers. Motivated to get stories out. I can see 2008 is going to be a very good year for Harlem live.
